Our School

At Tonopah Valley High School, we inspire and support our students to be and do their very best. Our clean, organized campus provides a wonderful education in a safe, supportive environment. We are a public school with private school amenities, featuring new buildings and facilities, artificial turf football field, all-weather track, and excellent fine arts programs.

Our caring, professional staff makes each day a valuable learning experience. Our small class sizes and highly-qualified teachers allow us to provide the personal attention that makes such a difference for our students. We combine quality classroom instruction with athletics, leadership opportunities, and many extracurricular activities.

Tonopah Valley students develop a life-long love for learning and a commitment to excellence. We empower our students to become productive, responsible, and successful citizens—and it shows. TVHS students follow our school motto: Be safe, Be responsible, and Be respectful at all times.

Please join us in our mission to prepare all students for success in the 21st Century. We will meet, and even exceed, our goals through the collective commitment of students, staff, parents, and community.

We dedicate ourselves to:

  • High student achievement

  • Quality personnel

  • Effective use of resources

  • Parental pride

Our caring and cooperative community makes Tonopah Valley a truly special place. Tonopah Valley parents and community members take an active role in the education of our students. Our parent teacher association is one of the most active in the state. Tonopah Valley High is a community resource where people come together, share ideas, and work for the benefit of our students.
