We’re getting ready for an exciting season with the Tonopah Valley Marching Band, and it all starts at Band Camp, running July 28 – August 2 at Tonopah Valley High School.
This camp is mandatory for all students participating in marching band — including winds, percussion, and soon to come color guard. We will be learning this season’s show music, movement, and marching fundamentals. Don’t miss this important start to our season!

July 30 – August 1: Half Days (2:30 PM – 8:00 PM)
Dinner will be provided on July 28th, 29th and August 2nd!
Need an instrument? We’ve got you covered. If you don’t have one or need one for the summer, we will help provide it.

We’ve officially wrapped up the first day of Tonopah Valley Band Camp, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication, focus, and energy our students brought to the field and rehearsal spaces. It’s clear that this season is going to be something special.
As we head into Day Two, we are continuing to build a culture rooted in Family, Integrity, and Excellence—and it’s not too late to be a part of it. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just curious about what band has to offer, there’s still time to join us. If your student is planning to be part of the marching band, camp is required and is the perfect time to meet the group, get instruments checked out, and learn this year’s exciting show.
Camp Details:

Location: TVHS Band Room & Practice Field
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Wednesday–Friday: 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Dinner provided on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday
What to Bring:
Instrument (or we’ll check one out!)
Large water jug
Lunch/snacks
Athletic wear and sneakers
Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
Pencil and music folder (if you have one)

Tonopah Valley High School Band – 2025-2026
Band Camp begins Monday, July 28 and runs through Saturday, August 2 at Tonopah Valley High School.
Schedule:
• Monday, Tuesday, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Wednesday – Friday: 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: TVHS Band Room & Practice Field
Dinner Provided: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday
What to Bring:
• Instrument (we can check one out to you if needed)
• Large water jug
• Athletic clothes and tennis shoes (no jeans or sandals)
• Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
• Lunch and snacks
• Pencil and folder (if you have one)
Attendance Expectations:
If you are participating in marching band this year, Band Camp is required. This is where we learn all the fundamentals and start preparing music and drill for our 2025 field show, “Project Greenlight.”
For New Students and Families:
Whether this is your first year or your student is returning, Band Camp is a great way to meet the group, get comfortable with your instrument, and build connections. We support students at every level.
Instrument Check-Out:
Students who need a school instrument can check one out during Band Camp.
