Attention TVHS Underclassmen parents and guardians: This year, TVHS 9th through 11th graders have been given the option to keep their Chromebooks over the summer. Students are responsible for any loss or damages (up to $225) that occur over the summer. If you prefer that your student does not keep their device over the summer, they can drop it off in the Nest any day next week. We will keep the device and have it ready to give back to them on the first day of school. If you think you might be moving, the device needs repair, or if you just don't want it over the summer, please drop it off before the end of the school year. Please email smusd.edtech@smusd90.org with any questions you may have.

TVHS GEAR UP took 37 students and 4 parents to 3 ASU campuses in one day. We are all exhausted, but learned a lot!
Hello Phoenix Families! Please join us in celebrating the wonderful staff at TVHS! Help us stock the Teacher's Lounge with snacks, drinks, and treats. They work hard all year. Let's thank them with a little pick me up. Drop off in the front office. Thanks!
Hello Tonopah Valley families!
Our district is utilizing a new tool for parent/teacher communication called Rooms. This summer we are going to begin using this platform for all summer programs and activities. Rooms is also where you will be finding out your student’s new class schedule and teacher assignments for the 2024-2025 school year. It is important to accept your guardian invitation to Rooms NOW prior to summer break! If you haven’t accepted your guardian invitation yet, you will be receiving an email or text message invitation on April 23rd. Please reach out to your teacher if you have any questions!

Dear Tonopah Valley Parents and Guardians,
A situation occurred today in the Tonopah area, causing Tonopah Valley to go into a Lockout during student arrival time. As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all students and staff, I wanted to provide details regarding a precautionary measure we took earlier today.
Earlier this morning, a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office prompted us to go into a Lockout as a police situation occurred near 339th Ave and Buckeye Rd. While there was no immediate threat to our school, we initiated a lockout as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. During a lockout, all exterior doors and gates are locked, and regular activities continue inside the buildings. This procedure is part of our comprehensive safety protocols to maintain a secure learning environment.
Please be assured that at no point were our students or staff in direct danger. Our administrative team worked closely with local law enforcement to monitor the situation. The lockout was lifted by 8:15 a.m. after law enforcement deemed it safe. Classes have resumed as usual.
We understand that situations like these can be concerning, and we want to assure you that our students and staff's safety and well-being are our top priorities. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office at 623-474-5501.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
Good evening,
